A lot of people have asked me why anti pro-ana/etc. is so important to me, when I don’t have an eating disorder or body image issues. This is really, really personal, but you guys, as my followers, have been so supportive and poured out so much to me. You deserve to know my side of it and why I’m so passionate about this cause.

If you can, please spread this. People don’t understand the effect their words can have on others, and I hope this kind of opens up that realization.

A video for those supporting friends, family, and loved ones who suffer from eating disorders. Please reblog - I guarantee that you know someone suffering with an ED, even if you don’t know it.

Please keep in mind that these are just general tips for what you can do on a personal level. People suffering from an eating disorder need complete, long-term medical and psychological help - you can’t help anyone all by yourself! I’m just trying to share immediate things that you can do to help as much as possible.

Please spread this, guys. I need your help.

This girl is talking about the one I mentioned earlier today that a few of you reported along with me. I second that this should be spread around.

And please, take the time to report pro-a-n-a.tumblr.com

Thanks for your help!

I’d like to point out that I’m not just against pro-a-n-a’s blog, but all unhealthy pro-ana blogs, and the concept of pro-ana itself (that is, the movement of encouraging women to be anorexic, not necessarily one person deciding to prolong or worsen their own anorexia - while I would never want anyone to make that choice, I don’t think I have the right to try to control what someone does to their body.) I used her blog as an example because it is by far the most aggressive example I’ve seen.

Just moving this stuff over to the new blog. :3

Reposting this for new followers and so that I can tag it for a video page!
